Nutritious Plant Based Meals

We are committed to promoting healthy growth and development in our young learners. One way we do this is by providing seasonal, locally sourced nutritious meals that are cooked on-site by our dedicated kitchen team. We take great care in selecting the best quality ingredients to prepare meals that are plant-based and vegetarian, which aligns with our values of sustainability and animal welfare.

Filton is a suburb located in the north of Bristol, England, and is an ideal location for a childcare nursery. Eden Early Years is a 115 place nursery with in the heart of Filton, making it a convenient location for families who live and work in the area.

The area is well connected by public transportation, including regular bus services to and from the city center, and the Filton Abbey Wood railway station is nearby, providing easy access to other areas of Bristol and beyond.

That's why we prepare freshly cooked, nutritious meals on-site every day, using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible and changing our menus according to the season. Our meals are plant-based, with options for both vegetarian and pescatarian diets, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and ethical food choices. We understand that some children may have dietary restrictions, and we encourage parents to inform us of any known allergies.

    A typical daily menu at our nursery includes a morning snack of fruit and organic porridge, a two-course plant-based lunch served at noon, an afternoon snack of fruit and waffles at 2 pm, and a light afternoon tea of soup and cake at 4:30 pm.

  • At Eden Early Years, we are proud to have a diverse team of skilled and dedicated practitioners. Many of our staff hold degrees in early years or teaching, while others currently have level two diplomas and training to become level three practitioners. We believe in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, and we work closely with local colleges and universities to provide our team with ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

  • We offer a user-friendly parent portal app that provides real-time updates on your child's learning and development. With our app, you'll be able to actively participate in your child's learning journey and contribute to their progress. Our nursery management team will be available to provide support and guidance on how to use the app effectively.

  • At our nursery, we offer flexible pricing options based on both daily and half-daily rates. We also accept nursery grants and vouchers in accordance with government guidelines.   • To ensure that your child is comfortable and to prevent any potential adverse skin reactions, we encourage parents to provide their own nappies, wipes, and creams. Whenever possible, we highly recommend the use of reusable and washable nappies as a more environmentally-friendly option.

  • At our nursery, we prioritise the safety and well-being of all children in our care. To ensure this, we have CCTV cameras installed in all main play areas, and all staff undergo rigorous referencing and DBS checks. Additionally, our team receives intensive training in child safeguarding and first aid to ensure that they are well-equipped to handle any situation that may arise.
