What to Expect When You Enrol and Start at Eden Early Years
Starting nursery is an exciting milestone for both children and parents. At Eden Early Years, we work closely with families to make the process smooth, welcoming, and supportive from your very first enquiry through to your child’s happy first days with us.
Our Registration Process
Once you have decided that Eden Early Years is the right setting for your child, our registration process is simple and straightforward.
You will be asked to complete a registration form and provide some key information about your child, including medical details, dietary requirements, and emergency contacts. This helps us ensure your child’s individual needs are met from day one. We will also share our policies, T&Cs and key dates so you feel fully informed and confident.
Our team is always available to answer any questions during this stage — we understand that choosing childcare is a big decision, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Settling-In Sessions
Prior to the settling in sessions we will send you an Dietry form and an All About Me form, which will ask about their interests, routines and comfort items. This helps us create a familiar, nurturing environment where your child can feel safe and secure.
We offer two settling in sessions, the first where you will be present and also have the opportunity to meet your child’s key person, who will play an important role in supporting your child’s emotional well-being and development and the second settling in session, you will drop your child off for an hour to see how they get on independently. If we feel they will benefit from a third settle we will let you know.
